எனைத்து நினைப்பினும் காயார்= தம்மை யான் எத்துணையும் மிகநினைந்தாலும் அதற்கு வெகுளார்; காதலர் செய்யும் சிறப்பு அனைத்து அன்றோ= காதலர் எனக்குச் செய்யும் இன்பமாவது அவ்வளவன்றோ, எ-று.

However much and however often she thinks of him, Parimelazhagar explains, he does not grow angry at it. In person he might have set some limit to such ceaseless attention; within her memory he never once refuses her. Watching this, she remarks: is that not the whole of the pleasure my beloved does me? It is gratitude and grievance in one breath — matters have reached the point where not being angry is the entire gift he gives.
