Your privacy

Last updated: 2026

We keep this simple, because we believe wisdom literature shouldn't come with surveillance.

What we don't do

No advertising. No third-party trackers or advertising cookies. We do not sell or share your personal data. Reading the site does not require an account.

What we do collect

Standard server logs (such as IP address and page requested) may be kept briefly for security and to understand aggregate traffic. If we add privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics, we'll say so here. Reviewers and owners who sign in have an account (name, email, hashed password) used only to operate the editorial workflow.

If you share an Ask answer

Questions you type into Ask are not stored. The one exception is the share button: choosing Publish and copy link stores that question and its answer so the link keeps working, and the page it creates is public. The button says this before you click. Write to the address below to have a shared page taken down.

If you report a problem with a verse

The report form stores what you write, which verse it was about, and a two-letter country code from Cloudflare's edge — kept only so a flood of spam from one place can be spotted. No IP address, no browser fingerprint, no account.

The email field is optional and used for one thing: asking you a follow-up question about your report. It is never published, never shared, and never used to contact you about anything else. Leave it blank and your report still counts.

If you tick credit me, the name you give may appear on the site beside a change that came from your report. That name is the only thing you send that we would ever publish, and only if you asked for it. Write to the address below to have a report or a credit removed.

Cookies

The public site sets no tracking cookies. Signed-in admin/reviewer sessions use a single secure, HttpOnly session cookie — functional only, never for tracking.
