ஆற்றின் ஒழுக்கி அறன் இழுக்கா இல்வாழ்க்கை = தவஞ்செய்வாரையும் தத்தம் நெறிக்கண் ஒழுகப்பண்ணி, தானும் தன் அறத்தில் தவறாத இல்வாழ்க்கை; நோற்பாரின் நோன்மை உடைத்து = அத்தவஞ்செய்வார் நிலையினும் பொறையுடைத்து. (பசி முதலிய இடையூறு நீக்கலின் 'ஆற்றின் ஒழுக்கி' என்றார்; நோற்பார் தம்மை உற்ற நோயல்லது பிறரை உற்ற நோயைப் பொறுத்தலின்மையின், இல்வாழ்வார் அதனையும் பொறுத்தலின் 'நோற்பாரின் நோன்மை உடைத்து' என்றார்.)
