தம் மக்கள் அறிவுடைமை = தம் மக்களது அறிவுடைமை; மா நிலத்து மன் உயிர்க்கெல்லாம் தம்மின் இனிது = பெரிய நிலத்து மன்னாநின்ற உயிர்கட்கெல்லாம் தம்மினும் இனிதாம். (ஈண்டு 'அறிவு' என்றது, இயல்பாகிய அறிவோடு கூடிய கல்வியறிவினை. இதனால் தந்தையினும் அவையத்தார் உவப்பர் என்பது கூறப்பட்டது.)
