மலர் மிசை ஏகினான் மாண் அடி சேர்ந்தார் = மலரின்கண்ணே சென்றவனது மாட்சிமைப்பட்ட அடிகளைச் சேர்ந்தார்; நிலம் மிசை நீடு வாழ்வார் = மேலாய வீட்டுலகின்கண் அழிவின்றி வாழ்வார். (சேர்தல் — இடைவிடாது நினைத்தல்.)

Parimelazhagar explains that those who continuously contemplate the noble feet of the Divine dwelling within the lotus of the loving heart live imperishably in the highest state of spiritual liberation. Reaching the feet means unbroken inner remembrance, which frees human life from spiritual decay.
